This evening I tried to export the contents of my old tumblr to a jekyll…doing so completely crushed my laptop. Whoops! Also, the gem for exporting from tumblr to jekyll seems to be buggy. It doesn’t support both re-writting URLs and downloading images. I’ve got all the images locally now, but can’t associate them with the (literally) thousands of .md files…trying to find a middle way.
